Mark and Tayna traveled part of the U.S. earlier this year. Mark had posted a photo of this serene scene. Several people, including myself, remarked it almost looked like a painting.

I asked permission from Mark to attempt to paint it. He gave me permission.

Honestly, I don’t think I did the photo justice. It is so beautiful in it’s own right.

In my attempt, the colors are a bit brighter perhaps.

At any rate, thank you Mark and Tanya for allowing me to lose myself for a while in the joy of painting. I had fun…..and that is the goal of creation for me.
