TRAIL THROUGH THE MUSTARD GRASS – 12” X 16”

This painting ended my “dry” spell. It had been 2 years since I seriously painted.

COVID – 19 and boredom inspired me to push myself to begin this “starter” painting.

Almost daily, I walk the hills in Bonita, CA. Winter of 2020 had been a particularly wet winter.

Come Spring, Mustard Grass grew in profusion to the point I could barely make it through the growth. I love Mustard Grass’s cheerful clusters of color on the hills around SoCal and Mexico.
