This is one of my early paintings created for my father as a present.
I have recently sold it to a dear friend, who is also from Connecticut.
When I first got my drivers license, My girlfriends and I would drive all over Connecticut, looking for adventure. My Kodak camera always accompanied us. This painting was inspired from one of those crazy drives to upper coastal Connecticut. I wish I could name the exact town, but I can not.
An old storage shed is prominent in the foreground, as are a few lobster pots. A small pond is center stage, and the ocean can be seen in the distance.
