This stretch of beach is another favorite walk I take with my dogs. I love it because it is extremely secluded. I am often the only walker on the beach. The upper shore is used by the Navy for their training. 

I have seen Navy Seals training on this beach, whales and dolphins frolicking in the ocean offshore, stinking days-dead Sea Lions washed up on the beach. One time, I even came upon a dead body sloshing back and forth in the waves. The police detained me for 3 hours while they gleaned information from me.

In other words, walking on this beach is serene, but can also be full of surprises.
