Loretta and I visited Cindy and Nick in their home site in Palm Desert California.
It rarely rains in our local desert, but we caught this winter storm rolling in as we hiked through a nature trail of Palm trees.

What caught my eye was the contrast in colors of light and shadow: the way the cloud bottoms grazed the top of the nearby mountains. The clouds and mountains seemed to blend. It was a beautiful site and a beautiful memory.
