While taking a solo vacation in October 2023, I took lots of photos of my hikes.
This painting, done in studio (not outside in Plein air) was executed over the course of several holiday months.

My main attraction to the scene was the shadows playing against sunlight on the trail.
I love that hike.

I love that area in the Cleveland National Forest in the Laguna Mountains.
